Iain MacLeod is a technical manager in Energy Saving Trust’s Edinburgh transport team. After obtaining a master’s in Renewable Energy Development from Heriot Watt University, he started working at Energy Saving Trust in 2014. From then until 2019, he oversaw grant funding provided to individual consumers, businesses and other organisations for the installation of electric vehicle charge points as part of the ChargePlace Scotland project. Since 2019 his work has focused on the delivery of Switched on Towns and Cities and Fleet Decarbonisation reports for local authorities and other public sector bodies. This work is focused on facilitating Scotland’s transition to electric vehicles.
