Manos (Emmanouil) Chaniotakis is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at MaaSLab, UCL Energy Institute. He holds a PhD from Technical University of Munich, an MSc degree in Transportation Infrastructure and Logistics from Delft University of Technology, and an engineering diploma from Aristitle University of Thessaloniki. His research focuses on modelling and simulation of transportation systems, including conventional and emerging transportation systems, demand modelling, and machine learning in transportation. He has worked on numerous European and national projects in transport modelling and machine learning, and he has been involved in consulting projects for establishment of strategic and operational transport models, estimation of behavioural models as well as the investigation of impacts of new mobility services. He has authored more than 30 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and books. He is a member of several professional and scientific organizations and a frequent reviewer for many scientific journals and conferences.
